It's National Hot Dog Day! Burgers get the spot-light all year long, but summer and National Hot Dog Day puts those wieners made of who-knows-what front and center.
I personally celebrated with a food review on the Old Nerd Reviews channel. 7-Eleven launched their new Reaper Big Bite hot dog so it was as if it was meant to be.

Download their app and register your account for National Hot Dog Day and get a complimentary hot dog. Simple as that.
Hwy 55
Dash over to this burger joint between 2 - 5 pm and grab a couple (limit 2 per customer) Southern Style Hot Dogs for only 99 cents a piece.
Philly Pretzel Factory
Next stop on National Hot Dog Day is Philly Pretzel Factory. Stop in and grab one of their dogs in a pretzel for only a buck.
Pilot Flying J
Other than being a cool place for the Trucker crowd, Pilot locations are offering free hot dogs or other roller grill food goods to the customers who have downloaded and registered their app.
Portillo's
All week long, they are offering two hot dogs for $5 from July 16 to July 23. Not exactly a great deal, but it's what they are doing. How much are their hot dogs usually?
